As the technology in the television industry is getting better smart TV prices are just going through the roof. With brands like LG, Sony and Samsung smart TV, price and features go hand in hand, the better feature and picture quality you want the more you need to pay. And with television, it is always about having the best experience watching a game or a movie. It is understood as the quality of video production increases, to make sure the same quality reaches the end user, the TV manufacturers have to come up with new technology like OLED or QLED.
However, there are people like you and me who might not have the capacity to go for the big shots, the grand television with loaded features. So, what do we do? Are there any options that help us enjoy the latest quality at a reasonable rate. Well, yes there is. There are numerous brands out there who are creating something new, crunching in those number to bring the most affordable but great television viewing experience to you. They understand the market needs it and so they are working on it.
But before we go any further, let’s understand our requirement. Do we really need all the smart features a television offers? Yes, in today’s time one of the major reason why television prices are so high is because of the smart features. These include app stores, internet surfing, video, and music play and a lot of other similar features. Now, we will need to be honest, do we really need them? Sure we need Youtube and Netflix and the occasional music but is voice control that important. What I am trying to say is, if you are on a budget, you need to choose a television not for its “smartness” but for its picture quality. Go for a 4K television without smart feature buys a smart stick that’s way cheaper and enjoy smart TV. It’s that simple.
When I talk about mid range there are a few brands that pop up in my head including LG, its OLED55C8. It provides some great viewing angle with good stereo sound at a reasonable price. While this one is 55” you can also get the 65” version of it. Its features include:
- 4K resolution display.
- Latest OLED display.
- A9 processor
These are some of the many interesting features the LG OLED55C8 can offer. Talking about features another Sony TV called the XBR-55X900F is a grab in the mid-range too. Sony is known for its sound and this tv produces some really awesome sound along with a bright LCD display. Yes, LCD but it’s not that bad. Its major features will include:
- Smart Android TV
- Freeview HD
- Direct-lit LCD with local dimming
and other such interesting feature.
These two options are surely worth trying. Next time you are at an electronic shop or online, check these two out.
